Making a Difference Awards

This year's Making a Difference Awards Ceremony was held on May 20 at Celebration Hall. Every year SFI celebrates our successes at our annual Making a Difference Awards ceremony. This year we honored board member Amelia Harding by creating the Amelia S. Harding Award. Mrs. Harding has worked tirelessly for the last 25+ years to promote the cause of Mental Illness and to provide those affected with better education and treatment options. This award will be given annually to a Mental Health Consumer who has made strides in the recovery process. In addition, two staff members were awarded Making a Difference Awards for outstanding performance and contributions to the organization. They are Patty Steider, Speech Therapist, and Rich Gadsby, Director of the Mental Health Program.
