A Place to Call Home

Strawberry Fields operates licensed community homes for individuals with intellectual disabilities in small residential settings, serving one to three individuals in each home. We strive to offer the highest quality of services and supports that are flexible, innovative, and person-centered. All individuals are treated with dignity and respect and are assisted to live a life similar to people without a disability so they can make meaningful life choices and be valued, contributing members of their communities.

Our homes are designed to provide each individual with a community setting to experience and learn basic life skills. Dedicated Direct Support Professionals encourage and assist individuals to achieve greater independence, find opportunities for growth, and to get more involved with their community. We focus on the unique needs of each person in our care and assist them to reach their fullest potential.

Independence

In our residential programs, we support adults with disabilities by assisting them in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in their home and in the community. Individuals are encouraged to be as independent as possible and receive support based on their needs and choices.

We support our residents to grow and develop, learn to make their own decisions, achieve their personal goals, and to enjoy life as valued members of their community.

Services may be provided up to twenty-four hours a day based on the needs of the individual. It includes transportation to and from day or employment services in addition to accessing community resources.
