Strawberry Fields Announces ASCEND Career Accelerator Program

Strawberry Fields, Inc., now offers the ASCEND Career Accelerator Program, a comprehensive approach to employee growth that combines full tuition support, personalized career coaching, and robust benefits designed to support team members at every stage of their careers. 


Through our partnership with Devereux, we are able to offer this expanded level of educational and career advancement support to our team. That investment strengthens the quality and consistency of care here in our community. 


What ASCEND Offers 


ASCEND provides eligible team members with upfront tuition support, covering the cost of tuition, exam fees, training, and study materials. Full-time employees are eligible for up to $15,000 annually, and part-time employees up to $7,500. Team members are also paired with a Career Coach to build a customized career plan aligned with their skills, interests, and long-term goals. 


Whether someone is just beginning their career, currently in college, or considering returning to school for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, ASCEND offers a clear, well-supported path forward. 


For team members who have already completed their education, ASCEND also offers student loan repayment support to help ease the long-term burden of education-related debt. 


Starting as a Direct Support Professional 


Many team members begin their journey at Strawberry Fields as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). DSPs support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community homes by helping with daily routines, building skills, and promoting meaningful participation in everyday life. 


This work offers a strong foundation for those interested in healthcare, human services and administration, education, and special education. With paid training, certification, and ongoing support, DSPs gain hands-on experience while exploring what a long-term career in this field can look like. 


No prior experience is required. What matters most is compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to supporting others.
