Strawberry Fields recently installed GPS technology in agency vehicles. It is a practical quality improvement that gives us another tool to support safe transportation when our vehicles are on the road. The system allows us to locate a vehicle if a driver needs help or if there is an emergency. It also provides information about driving activities. We can use that information to reinforce safe driving practices and support ongoing staff training. GPS also helps us track vehic

As the people we support grow older, their needs change, and the homes where they live need to change with them. Since 2023, Strawberry Fields has been working to make our community-based homes friendlier for aging in place. That work continues over the next year with 11 projects across seven homes. Aging can be harder for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Health shifts, mobility changes, and the amount of day-to-day support a person needs often grows.

The past few months have certainly passed quickly, marked by the holiday season and various festivities. Individuals had the opportunity to celebrate with family, friends, staff, and one another.
