GPS Now Installed in Strawberry Fields Vehicles

Strawberry Fields recently installed GPS technology in agency vehicles. It is a practical quality improvement that gives us another tool to support safe transportation when our vehicles are on the road.

The system allows us to locate a vehicle if a driver needs help or if there is an emergency. It also provides information about driving activities. We can use that information to reinforce safe driving practices and support ongoing staff training.

GPS also helps us track vehicle use and mileage across our residential programs. Our fleet is on the road every day, taking people to work, medical appointments, programs and activities throughout the community. 

This is another example of what our partnership with Devereux makes possible. Our partnership gives us access to quality and safety resources and technology that can be difficult for a smaller organization to put in place on its own.
