A Night to Celebrate: Making a Difference Awards

Once a year, the Strawberry Fields community gathers for an extraordinary evening of recognition—our Making a Difference Awards. This signature event brings to life our mission of empowering individuals and enriching lives, showcasing the achievements taking place across our Early Intervention, Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities programs, and social enterprises.
Throughout the evening, we celebrate the journeys of individuals who have reached meaningful milestones—goals achieved, challenges overcome, and new possibilities embraced. Each award honors not only success, but the courage, perseverance, and spirit that made it possible.
Alongside our consumers stand our dedicated staff and volunteers, whose unwavering support makes these moments—both ordinary and extraordinary—possible. We honor the exceptional individuals who consistently go above and beyond. Such as the staff member who helps someone navigate a challenging transition, the volunteer who builds new pathways for confidence, and the team leader whose compassion lays a foundation for growth.
The Making a Difference Awards illuminate the quiet, daily acts of kindness, determination, and support that, together, create lives of purpose and possibility. As award recipients take the stage, their stories remind us why our work matters—and the lasting impact it has on individuals, families, and our broader community.
This year's award winners, listed below, represent the very heart of our organization. They remind us that making a difference isn’t always about grand gestures, but about showing up, day after day, with openness, respect, and the conviction that everyone deserves the chance to live a life that matters.
We look forward to celebrating Team Strawberry on May 15 at Toftrees Resort!
